Social media is also getting infiltrated in the Russia-Ukraine war. Hashtags are being run in support of Russian President Vladimir Putin through several fake accounts on Twitter. The names and faces that are being used to run these hashtags are real, but this is being done by creating fake accounts in their names. Most of them are social media influencers and have a significant number of followers.

There is a lot of complaint of fake followers on Twitter, Musk said - I will be fine
All social media platforms are battling with fake accounts, but this question is raised more about Twitter than others. This is because its user verification system and account creation is much easier. Recently, businessman Elon Musk had asked to buy Twitter that Twitter would remove fake users from this platform. However this task will not be that easy. Social media and privacy experts believe that removing fake users and bots accounts from the Internet will be a huge challenge.
